How do we make an initial enquiry?
How do we book our wedding?
Our wedding co-ordinator will happily hold a date for you for two weeks. After this time a £500 deposit and completed application form will be required to confirm your date. A payment plan will then be set up for the remaining balance.
Can we have the ceremony only and then move on elsewhere for the reception?

Do we have to book the registrar separately?
Yes you do, you will need to agree a time and date with both ourselves and Essex County Council Registration Service. You can contact the superintendent registrar for the district on 0345 603 7632.
What is the maximum number of guests we can have for our ceremony and reception?
We can accommodate anything from 6 guests, 50 guests, 100 guests, 200 guests, 300 guests upto 820 guests for your ceremony.
Upto 300 guests for your sit down wedding breakfast and anything from 50 guests, 100 guests, 200 guests upto 1,000 guests for an evening reception.
Who provides the catering for our wedding?
We use fantastic local businesses within the Tendring District, we will work closely with you to develop the perfect wedding menu to suit your taste.
Can the menus accommodate any special dietary needs?
Absolutely. All of our suppliers will be able to accommodate dietary requirements.
Do you supply chair covers?
Chair covers are not included in the standard price, but we can source these locally for you.
Can we deliver our table decorations the day before our wedding?
Of course you can, we don’t want you to be rushing around the day of your wedding. We will also place all your name cards on the tables with a copy of your table plan, along with favours and anything else you may have.
Do you provide table linen?
Yes, table linen is included in the standard price. You can opt for a particular colour to match your theme, but there may be an extra charge depending on where we would source these from.
Can you provide wine and welcome drinks?
Yes, we can provide you with wine, prosecco, champagne, welcome drinks, cocktails, you name it. A bespoke drinks package can be made up and charged per adult guest. Further information can be provided by the wedding co-ordinator.
Can we throw confetti on our wedding day?
Yes, you can use biodegradable confetti at the front of the Town Hall.
Can we use candles?
Yes you are able to use candles, but we do ask that they are in a safe candleholder.
Does our band, DJ or any external supplier need any certificates?
We have a resident DJ that can play at your wedding, but if you would prefer to use your own band or DJ or any external supplier, we request that we must view their Public Liability Insurance. If you need help looking for entertainment, with over 100 shows that are put on at the theatre, we can definitely point you in the right direction.
Where can I park?
There is a small car park to the side of Clacton Town Hall that can be used, as well as the High Street car park which is only a few minutes walk. There is also street parking available after 6pm around the building.
When is the final balance required?
The final balance is due 7 days before the wedding date and we would require final numbers 6 weeks before.
