Purchasing Tickets

Tickets for shows are available to purchase online, in person by visiting the Visitor Information Centre at Clacton Town Hall, Station Road, Clacton on Sea, Essex, CO15 1SE or by calling our box office on 01255 686633 (Option 1).

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Refunds/Exchanges

Please note we strictly offer no exchanges or refunds once tickets have been purchased, excluding our COVID-19 Guarantee.

Group Discounts

We are pleased to offer a group discount rate. If you purchase ten tickets you can get one ticket free. We can occasionally offer school discounts for certain shows, please contact us for further information.
Booster Seat Icon
Booster Seats – We have limited number of booster seats and these are offered on a first come first serve basis. Please ask a member of staff on arrival if required.

Refreshments Icon
Refreshments Bar – Our bar is open 45 minutes before the performance and during intervals. A wide selection of drinks are available as well as a selection of crisps, nuts, tea and coffee. We also offer advance ordering to avoid the interval rush.

Ice Cream Icon
Sweets and Ice Cream – A selection of sweets and ice-creams are available to purchase prior to the commencement of a show and during the interval.

Payment Icon
Payment – We accept cash and card (All major debit and credit cards) in all areas of the Theatre with contactless payment available. We do not offer cash-back. Princes Theatre gift vouchers and cheques are only accepted at the Box Office. We do not accept Theatre Tokens or other third party gift vouchers.
No Mobile Phones Icon
Mobile Phones – We ask that you consider others, and please ensure that your mobile phone is switched off during performances. Photography/filming is not permitted during the performances.

Dancing Icon
Dancing – We would kindly ask customers to be mindful of those around them when dancing. Staff will encourage customers to dance in the aisles at the sides of the stalls when there is room to do so. If you stand up and dance in your seat you will be blocking the view of those behind you. Dancing is not prohibited but please be respectful of theatre staff if you are politely asked to remain in your seat or move to the aisle to dance.

No Smoking Or Vaping Icon
No Smoking or Vaping – We do not permit the use of e-cigarettes or vaping indoors. This is in line with World Health Organisation Guidance.
