Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
Last updated: 12:00pm 05/01/2021
It has been a very difficult and challenging year for the Princes Theatre team due to the impact of The Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
All shows that were due to take place in 2020 have now either been cancelled or rescheduled and all customers should have been notified accordingly. Due to the ongoing uncertainty of reopening we have now also rescheduled/cancelled shows that were booked between January and March 2021.
If you have tickets for a show that has been cancelled or rescheduled and not received contact from the Princes Theatre please contact our box office on 01255 686633 (Option 1) or email princestheatreclacton@tendringdc.gov.uk.
Unfortunately cash refunds will not be available and we urge you to accept bank transfer, transfer to alternative show or credit in form of voucher.
If your show is postponed your tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date. If you do not wish to attend the new date, then full refunds will be issued the same as cancelled shows below.
If your show is cancelled and you paid online or by phone then you will receive an email to initiate a full refund. *Please note the refund amount shown will not include booking fees, however, rest assured these will be refunded* If you paid either by cash or chip and pin at our Box Office, then we will contact you to arrange refunds.
Rescheduled Shows
Please note that if you have opted to transfer your ticket over to a new date you will receive a new ticket in the post prior to the new show date. Please dispose of your old tickets as these will not be accepted. We are delaying sending out new tickets at the moment until we are 100% certain that the show will go ahead to avoid confusion.
Thank you for your patience and continued support at this difficult time. In the event of any uncertainty about shows/tickets please do not hesitate to contact the Princes Theatre box office. We will certainly look forward to welcoming you back in the not to distance future.
